‘Utopia’ was originally released on Nick Hook’s album Asylum Earth, but it was always destined to be released as a single as well. It’s taken a while to get this package of club mixes together, but we think you’ll agree that it’s been worth the wait.
This stunning package of new mixes features remixes from talented house music producers Tom Chubb, Martin Sharp and Mike Mac, plus a brand new mix by Nick Hook, as well an updated version of the original.
Martin Sharp’s remix is an exceptional slice of euphoric deep house, which compliments Nina Carina’s blissful vocals perfectly.
Tom Chubb’s remix is classic deep piano house with an old-school warehouse vibe.
Mike Mac supples a sublime rework that chops up Nina’s vocals to great effect, while adding inventive new samples and a wicked sax riff.
Meanwhile Nick Hook creates an inspiring progressive heaven vibe with his New World Mix.
And the marvellous original mix is included with a revamped extended version.
Nina Carina is a talented Brighton-based DJ/producer and vocalist, she is a rising star who DJs regularly at the hottest tech house and techno clubs in Brighton such as Tech-noir and Berlin.
‘Utopia’ is a track about the birth of a new society with a philosophy based on peace, love, social justice and equality, and the subject matter is especially relevant in today’s troubled world. We are children of the universe and we can build a new world.
