The inspiration for ‘Brighton Sunrise’ is a moment that happened at one of Nick’s Tech-noir Club parties at Volks Nightclub. It was 7am and the sun had just started to sneak through the shutters onto the dance floor while the last track played to a blissed-out crowd. It was such a special moment that Nick wanted to capture it in music, with the track aptly titled ‘Brighton Sunrise’.
The original mix of ‘Brighton Sunrise’ is a deep and atmospheric house track with ethereal pads, arpeggios and striking piano chords. The ‘Coming Up Mix’, meanwhile, is propelled by a rhythmic piano riff, filtered synths and a driving bass line, designed for more peak-time club moments.
